Why the name "Web Stew"
This is a reference to web programming. Often a poor implementation of CSS/XHMTL is referred to as Tag Soup. Well I took this once step further. My analogy for web programming is "Web Stew" because unlike desktop programming a web programmer needs to learn and combine many "langugages" to effectivily create a website. For Example this blog uses AJAX, Javascript, PHP, CSS, XHTML, and probably more.
About Me
Derek Gavey (the owner of this blog) is the C.T.O. of Accessible Accessories. I am a web developer, network admin, ex-business owner, father, and far too many other things to list.

The Purpose
The purpose of this blog mainly is to let me give back and add to many of the techniques I picked up from readings blogs like this one (mostly a lot better than this one). I don't profess to be a top developer of any of the languages I discuss, but I have developed some techniques that I have not seen posted before. I hope you enjoy the articles and I would love to hear your comments or additions on any of the articles I write.
